Terms and Conditions

Fee payments

Fees are term-based with invoices emailed at the beginning of each term. Payments are preferred by direct debit but cash will be accepted by arrangement. Payment is to be made within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required if a lesson is to be made up. Catch-up lessons will be offered the first Monday/Tuesday of school holidays. If you are away and unable to attend then another time will not be scheduled and refunds are not offered. Make-up lessons are not given with group classes or for sickness. Refunds will not be given if a student does not complete the term of lessons. If the teacher is sick then the lesson will be rescheduled.

Music tutor books

All students are required to purchase tutor and theory books for their lessons. These will be recommended by the teacher and are available at Classically Music.

Practice

Students are encouraged to practice at home between lessons. The teacher will recommend the number of practices per week and having a parent or caregiver support is of great benefit.

Hiring instruments

The hirer agrees to keep the musical instrument in good condition and shall ensure that it is only used by the nominated user for the practice and performance of music. The hirer is liable for loss or damage of the musical instrument and if lost will need to replace it.
