Terms and conditions

Fee payments
Fees are term-based with invoices emailed at the beginning of each term. Payments are preferred by direct debit but cash or personal cheques will be accepted by arrangement. Payment is to be made within 7 days of receiving the invoice. A 5% discount is offered to families with more than one child attending individual classes if paid on time.

Lesson cancellations
Please call me and let me know if you must cancel a lesson for any reason. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required if a lesson is to be made up. Make-up lessons are given on the first Monday of the school holidays. A maximum of two (2) make-up lessons will be given per term. Make-up lessons are not given with group classes or for sickness.

Teachers
Classically Music will provide a suitably trained tutor to ensure quality music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Music tutor books
All students are required to purchase tutor and theory books for their lessons. These will be recommended by the teacher and are available at Classically Music.

Practice expectations
Students are expected to practice at home between lessons. The teacher will recommend the number of practices per week and parents and caregivers must sign a practice sheet (given at the beginning of each term) once children have completed their weekly practice.

Exam students

Those students electing to take exams are recommended to attend a theory class or work through a theory book. Grade 5+ students are recommended to take a 45 min class.
