Our Teachers

Ann-Marie Lake
Ann-Marie studied music (B.Mus Hons) at WIT in Waterford, Ireland. In addition she gained a higher diploma in Education (H.Dip Ed Hons) from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and a Graduate Diploma in primary teaching from Victoria University NZ. IRMT registered. She has been teaching music in Ireland and New Zealand for 25 years and specialises in piano, theory and flute.

Johanna Hansen
Johanna has been teaching piano and singing since 1988 when she took over her Mum's pupils for the Aberdenn Music Festival. In Wanaka since 1998, Johanna started teaching violin to individuals and later group lessons at Wanaka Primary. Johanna studied German and History (M.A. Hons.) and later teaching (Dip.Toefl). She has also studied singing with Neil Mackie and has been heavily involved in choral singing, recorder lessons/groups, orchestras and musicals. Most recently she has led the Central Otago Regional Orchestra. Johanna is also a member of Strings Central Trio, Roaring Meg Irish band and Cemetery Road covers band.

Kaitlyn Tooley
Kaitlyn Tooley started learning piano from an early age and is now in her senior year at MAC. She is excited to teach young students and wants to share her passion with music.
